I am a Ph.D. student in political science at the University of Chicago. My research focuses on international security, with an emphasis on the political economy of security and bureaucratic politics.
I am also interested in the politics of climate change and energy transitions.
Prior to starting my Ph.D., I worked at the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Partnership for Public Service.
My work has been supported by the Smith Richardson Foundation, the Institute for Humane Studies, Stand Together Trust, and the University of Chicago's Nicholson Center for British Studies.
You can find a copy of my CV here [PDF].
Outside of my academic work, I enjoy exploring Chicago's food, music, and film scenes.
